Today is Dr. Tolliver’s last day as our program director. We are deeply indebted to have her as our anchor in the past 8 years. As a wonderful “academic diplomat” (a term coined by one of our colleagues for Joyce only), she has helped TIS grow tremendously and become one of the top master programs in T&I. She has been an amazing leader, colleague, and friend, and we are so sorry to see her step down from her position. But we are glad to know that she will have more time to focus on her research and teaching. And most importantly, she would continue to support TIS no matter what role she plays. Thank you, Joyce! You are always a member of the TIS family!

We also would like to warmly welcome Dr. Shosted as the new director of TIS. He has been an affiliated faculty in TIS and served multiple terms on the TIS advisory committee. He has already been familiar with the mission and functioning of our unit. We look forward to shaping a great future of TIS with you, Ryan!
